Did you know that today is National Flip Flop Day? Obviously this day does not require you to wear any type of sock, because, well, socks with flip flops is just a completely terrible idea. However, while you are out enjoying the warm summer weather do not forget about Rock the Sock. Summer is a perfect time to donate socks! Go through your socks and find the ones that you never wear, and donate them! You might be able to find some great socks on sale too! If we collect a bunch of socks now then we will hopefully have a big supply to donate when all of the cold weather rolls around.
Thank you so much to all of our awesome supporters! You all are great! Happy National Flip Flop Day and enjoy the summer weather!--Paxton

Thanks for the Love
Recently, one of our wonderful supporters gave Rock the Sock a shout-out on her blog. This supporter made an adorable monkey cake complete with orange and lime green frosting. This particular cake was for a 3 year old's birthday party, but maybe someday this talented cake artist will design a cake for Rock the Sock!
Have an absolutely wonderful day!--Paxton

Encouraging Words.
Hello everyone! Hope you all are doing well and your weekends have all started out very nicely. Today, Rock the Sock received on of the best compliments that made my heart skip a beat. As most of you know, Rock the Sock has a Facebook page and had been doing randomized "Shout-Outs" through the page. Well, I guess those shout-outs caught the attention of one of the Rock the Sock supporters who then sent me a message.
In the message she expressed hoe happy she was for Rock the Sock, and wished out cause the best of luck. Then she told me of how Rock the Sock had somewhat inspired her to start something in her community! Wow! What a wonderful surprise! Not only is Rock the Sock giving the gift of warm toes to those who need it, but we are also inspiring others to make goals to help those in need. I can not think of a better compliment to Rock the Sock.
We have received so many emails and comments with suggestions, ideas, and encouraging words throughout the last few days. Rock the Sock truly is blessed with the most fabulous support team and we could not accomplish anything without you all.
Thank you all for everything you do! Have a perfectly amazing rest of your weekend!--Paxton

Shout Out
This last week, Rock the Sock has been sending "shout outs" to some of our Facebook followers. It has been a lot of fun and a huge success in brightening people's days! Become a fan of Rock the Sock on Facebook and you too could receive a shout out.
Thank you to our wonderful followers for all of their suggestions on how to collect socks and where to donate them! We definitely could not do any of this without our loyal supporters and their ideas and suggestions! We will always take suggestions though, so do not stop thinking about how Rock the Sock can help those in need.

Suggestions Needed
Hello Everyone! Hope you are all doing well today. If you haven't had a chance to check out the "You Make Me Smile Campaign" video make sure you do so soon! The link is listed in the blog post below. Hopefully Rock the Sock will be able to successfully integrate the smile campaign into our donations. :)
As our supporters we really value your thoughts, ideas, and suggestions. The big question today is: Where would you like to see socks donated? Your answer can be as general as, "to children" or "to the troops" or it can be as specific as "The Ronald McDonald House in OKC." We need your suggestions!!! As our supporters you have the opportunity to use your voice to help those in need! Help us today by leaving a comment here on the blog, posting on our Facebook wall, or shooting us an email. We would love to hear from you!
